Description
Exclusive at the DJ Shadow Storage Sale at Rappcats, September 10-11, 2016
On “The Sideshow,” DJ Shadow brings it back to the basics – cutting and scratching a crateful of esoteric sounds and phrases over gritty break beats. Limited to 300 copies worldwide, available exclusively via Rappcats, this is the second of three limited edition 12? singles from DJ Shadow’s The Mountain Will Fall. Included on the single is the first and only release of the instrumental and scratch acappella version of the “The Sideshow.” The 12? comes housed in a laser cut jacket and sturdy black euro sleeve.
A1: The Sideshow (feat. Ernie Fresh)
B1: Instrumental
B2: Acappella
This copy is signed and sealed, and is not available anywhere else. This was the one track on the album where dj shadow is in familiar form with his turntablist roots flexing his skills as a skratch dj. The nasty, heavy, funky open drum break alone on the instrumental makes this worth the price of entry.
