DJ TIESTO
Signed Copy of Urban Train 12" Single
The time has finally come when I have decided to hang up my headphones and give up my DJ career. So now I have finally decided to sell my records. This one however, I was completely unprepared to sell for £1 to my local second hand record shop as I thought somebody, who is really into him, might appreciate it a lot more, than some local chav, who picks up a bargain.
The record itself is the original 12" single release of Urban Train, however the Sleeve is signed by Mr Tiesto himself. The record has never been played.
The Background
Whilst at University I entered a DJ competition in Chase Bar in Newcastle, judged by Stretch and Vern. Somehow I managed to pull it together and win the competeition. It was sponsored by Lynx, who at the time were sponsoring DJ Tiesto's tour and I was whisked away to the backstage area at Newcastle University Union, where Tiesto was performing that night. As Lynx were sponsoring it they were using this as a big publicity thing at all stops along the tour and I had to have my photograph taken with Tiesto himself as well as Stretch and Vern who were warming up for him that night (and two of the nicest guys you'll ever meet).
Anyway, I took the opportunity to get Tiesto to sign a copy of the record for me, which could now be yours if you win this auction.
