It is often said that you can't teach a dog new tricks, and once again, DMX proves this statement to be true.  Grand Champ, his fifth album, helped DMX become the only artist in history to have his first five albums all consecutively debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 Album Chart.  Outside of the Ruff Ryder family, collaborations include Cam'Ron, Monica, 50 Cent, Syleena Johnson, and even R&B legend Patti LaBelle on the track "Thank You," as the gospel rap sound closes the album perfectly!!  "Where The Hood At?," DMX's first single from Grand Champ, has a rowdy tune which contains lyrics that poke fun at collapsed rapper Ja Rule.  The bonus single "A'Yo Kato" pays homage to the life of DMX's close friend Kato, in which he sings "Dogs that I call my friends/praying for all my friends/things I do for my friends/we miss you A'YO KATO!"  On "We're Back," DMX, along with labelmates Jadakiss and Eve, declares that the Ruff Ryder family is back and here to prove that they are the best.  On the cut "Rob All Night (If I'm Gonna Rob)" DMX basically performs "No Love 4 Me" from his 1998 album Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood, with slight differences.  Definitely a must-have album for any true DJ or hip-hop fan out there... so grab it now!!!

Released in 2003, this album is now long out of print and is impossible to find on vinyl these days.  Comes in full picture sleeve as shown above!  Don't sleep... you won't see this rare gem again!!  Grab it today before it's gone!!
