Description
Always hitting the stacks in a flurry of excitement, it touches down with usual ruffness - bringing Mala back into the fold for some caustic low-end punctuation with the twin toasting of 'Bury Da Bwoy' and 'Hunter'. Casting his net beyond the bass-bins for influence, Mala again manages to incorporate a varied palate of influences into the groove - ranging from broken beat and brooding atmospherics, through to garage tones and cloaked samples. But who gives a f*ck about inception when it sounds this fierce; as 'Bury Da Bwoy' batters down the ear drums and takes up squatters rights in your cranium, and 'Hunter' goes for the melodious tip on the back, albeit striped with some nasty basement thuds. Bwop!
