DMZ ORIGINAL BOSTON PUNK GARAGE 1977 EP RARE





DMZwas a first-wavepunkbandfromBoston,Massachusetts, strongly influenced by 1960sgarage rock. In early 1976, Jeff Conolly (sometimes credited as "J. Connally", a/k/a Mono Mann, Monoman, etc.) stole the lead vocalist position in the nascent band by out-performing their singer at one of the band's practices.[1]Along with his vocals he brought two things the band lacked: keyboards (an electric piano) and original songs. Just over one year later, in April 1977, the band went into therecording studiowith Craig Leon (who hadproduced, theRamonesfirst album). Four songs from that session were released byBomp!on a 7" vinyl EP.
THIS EP IS ONE OF THE BEST FROM 1977 U.S PUNK SCENE..its a true piece of GARAGE PUNK HISTORY,,, A MUST FOR THE PUNK COLLECTOR
