DNA 7" 45 "YOU & YOU" b/w "LITTLE ANTS" (Medical-Lust/Unlust Records 11-CAN-234) Released 1978.
Look unplayed. The grooves look shiny new! This rare artifact has been stored with great care. The chaotic, atonal, grating & utterly loveable DNA was comprised of Arto Lindsay, Robin Cruthfield & Ikue Mori. The band also appeared on the No New York album with Mars, The Contortions, Teenage Jesus & The Jerks. Brian Eno produced No New York. That was back before he hooked up with U2. This debut 45 was produced by the late Robert Quine, who played guitar in Richard Hell & The Voidoids. This record has been stored long term in a protective plastic polybag. Nice crispy condition for the Picture Sleeve, Label & Disc! Includes original store receipt showing the owner paid $2.28 for this. Hell, that receipt outta be worth twenty bucks by itself! (Etched Matrix number: "11-CAN234-DNAND-A/B").
LABEL & SLEEVE - NM
No seam splits, stains, tears, tape, ink spills, puncture holes, stickers, writing, or color fading. Rich color; sharp print. Faint ring indentation on sleeve. No ring wear on label. Label looks excellent with no stains, scuffs, stickers, scratches, flecking or writing. The hole has a nice sharp cut.
DISC - NM
The original owner took good care of this record & stored it well. Free of scratches, streaks, stains, skips, warping or residue on the disc or dead wax. No chipping or scoring. Exemplary rainbow sheen. Three quarter-inch flecks are hard to spot. Record has been stored upright in a protective plastic polybag in a smoke-free, climate-controlled environment.
