Description
Asch/Folkways 3903, "Dock Boggs Vol. 3", from 1970. The heavy red-label vinyl plays at NM with virtually no background sound. The jacket looks almost like new with solid seams, square corners, and no ringwear, bends, writing, or stamps. There is some slight discoloring on the back corner of unknown origin. Numbers include "Davenport", "Dying Ranger", "Little Ommie Wise", "Sugar Blues", "Loving Nancy", "Cuba", "John Hardy", "Peggy Walker", "I Hope I'll Live a Few More Days", "Turkey in the Straw", "Calvary", "Roses While I'm Living",, 'Leave It There", "Prayer of a Miner's Child", "Coke Oven March", "Ruben's Train", "Cumberland Gap", and "Careless Love". Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $22.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. (Sorry for the higher foreign shipping, but Folkways records are very HEAVY.) Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
