Here’s an original copy one of the rarest UK major label LPs of the early 70s. Formed by former members of Locomotive, it spans folky pop, pastoral prog and hard rock, with fine vocal harmonies, tough guitar leads and some prominent Mellotron. Housed in one of the least commercial sleeves of the era, it was given next to no promotional support upon its release in April 1971, and it’s no surprise that it sold so poorly. Copies hardly ever surface, and it’s easily one of the rarest LPs of its sort.

 

COVER

The flimsy textured card sleeve is in outstanding EX condition, with only mild signs of wear. The spine is complete and readable (see picture) and there are no splits, tears, writing or other such flaws. It’s still crisp and clean, and will be very hard to upgrade.

 

VINYL

The disc is in VG+ shape, with surface marks that do little to detract from the music. The labels are bright and show only mild signs of use. It comes complete with its correct EMI advertising inner sleeve.
