Description
"L'Inimitable DON BYAS Et Ses Rythmes" Released in MONO on Norman Granz's NORGRAN RECORDS (MG-N-12) in 1954 as a 10" EP with 8 songs. It was recorded in France where he had lived since 1946. This is a Deep Groove pressing. I'm also selling DON BYAS '52 ATLANTIC NM 10 LP/EP VG+ CVR Rare Jazz DG
Visually & Play-Graded, the EP is in strong VERY GOOD PLUS condition appears to have been played moderately judging by the visible spindle marks on the labels, with only a few light hairline scratches which are hardly visible and some faint spotting. Very nice! On playing, there are no skips, loud pops (only an occassional light one), and only very mild background noise, with the music loud and clear, with Next-To-No static. Outstanding listening!
The Cover is better than VERY GOOD condition with Light Wear to the Black Front and liner note back, Corners show light wear and the Seams Intact - though showing white on the top and bottom, with the title seam clean. There is a 3" piece of transparent tape on the top to the opening and a 1" piece of tape on the bottom seam at the opening.
