Record is excellent with minimal light sleeve scuffs only. Cover (uncut in shrink) is near mint.

Great original copy of the first LP by renowned Black American poet Don L. Lee, later known as Haki R. Madhubuti, released in 1970 by Detroit's Broadside Press. This is sometimes incorrectly listed on discographies for the NYC Broadside label (Folkways-affiliated offshoot of Sis Cunningham's folk magazine of the same name); the two labels are not related and as far as we know, this was the only LP released by the Detroit Broadside.
