                  DON LANG AND HIS FRANTIC FIVE: SCHOOL DAY b/w SIX-FIVE SPECIAL
Released on H.M.V in 1957 this record dates from an era when both 45 rpm and 78 rpm copies were issued simultaneously, 45's being the newcomers to the scene. This copy comes in its original sleeve which is a little worn, but still complete (see photo). The record is in surprisingly good for its age and plays perfectly on my deck and I would grade it at excellent. Catalogue number 45-POP 350 - Plum colour with gold print. Matrix number is 7XEA-18954-2N.
Record Collector Grading:  
Mint: record in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent: record shows some signs of being played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover without any major defects is acceptable.
