Description
· Don McLean by Don McLean – vinyl album
· United Artistsrecord label dated 1972
· Hand-signed by Don McLean
· I took this albumto the Don McLean concert at Nottingham Concert Hall on Friday 5thNovember 1993 and Don signed the cover after the show at the stage door.
· If you look onthe Don McLean website and click on ‘Tours’, you will find this statement:
“Don does sign autographs at his shows, however,there is a $40 charge for his signature”.
· I am fairlycertain that this is a first pressing. Certainly I have owned it since the mid1970s.
· The record itselfand the cover are in pretty good condition for 45-50 years old. The inner sleevehas all the lyrics to the songs printed in white on a red background.
· This album hasbeen a part of my personal collection but I have recently down-sized home andhave no means of playing it any more.
