Description
Original FIRST! UK issue on black and blue columbia label from 1966 . Comes with original inner. Please note that this is the rare 1st mono black & blue issue not the later pressed black and silver label issue. Vinyl looks perfect! probably played a few times only unfortunately there is a very small scratch about 2mm long which ticks for 5/6 revolutions of the record (definately does NOT! skip or jump). Fortunately it is on probably the most unpopular track of the lp "Ruth" . The rest of the record looks mint and plays mint! The sound is superb! with no intrusive distortion pops clicks or background noise. This record has superior recorded sound, if it's near perfect audio quality you're after then these UK issues are for you!. The jacket is laminated and in lovely near mint! condition with NO! splits or tears, there is NO! wear to the seams, and hardly any wear to the lamination, looks A REAL BEAUTY! the best ive seen yet... Labels are mint ! there is no wear to the center hole except for a few spindle marks on one side. Musically this is one of the best sounding lps of the time "Hot Rod" and "Dusk Fire" are true jazz masterpieces!.. A very rare 1st issue, sought after, delightful and great modern jazz .
