DON RENDELL IAN CARR QUINTET ~ DUSK FIRE LP
Original 1966 U.K. first issue mono pressing released on the blue & black Columbia label SX 6064.
Description :
Very rare and hard to find jazz classic that has become increasingly collectable over the last few years. One of the finest examples of the UK late sixties jazz scene which featured not only the enormous talents of the leaders, but also the legendary Michael Garrick on piano.
Condition ~ Vinyl :
The vinyl is in VG++ condition with a few light surface hairlines and one small scratch towards the end of "Jubal" which sounds only very lightly for a few revolutions, although it's barely noticeable. The rest of the album plays superbly with only the faintest of occasional background noise.
Condition ~ Sleeve :
The classic striking laminated flip-back sleeve is in overall great shape with just a couple of very light creases in the laminate. EXCELLENT condition.
Condition ~ Inner Sleeve :
Comes complete with the original sepia EMI Columbia inner sleeve which is in excellent condition.
Condition ~ Labels :
Both labels are nice and clean. No writing. Just some light spindle marks.
