Description

  • Blue Note Records 4061, this is an original US mono pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the classic Donald Byrd LP "At The Half Note Cafe Volume 2". This pressing has the classic blue and white labels with the "47 West 63rd NYC" address notation; "RVG" and the infamous "ear" symbol are clearly stamped in the trail off on both sides. The labels have a ridge on each side as well, although not quite a "deep groove". Laminated jacket is a beautiful NM/NM-, showing some minor corner bumping and a hint of tanning on the back; there are no splits or tears. Vinyl is a shiny and clean EX (Excellent), showing a few light paper/sleeve marks on either side. Playback is strong throughout - some hints of crackle during quieter interludes - while labels are crisp with no spindle wear.
