A USA issue and in a Gatefold Sleeve. Featuring the (relatively) obscure Sonny Red (Sylvester Kyner) – an altoman who despite recording with Art Pepper, Art Blakey, and all the great Detriot jazzers, never achieved his full recognition. Thanks to his friend Donald Byrd he appears here.
The record plays fine. It has light paper lines so some crackle is heard but cleaned on my vinyl machine it plays very well and the music cuts through fine. Played throughout. No problems.
The unlaminated Gatefold Sleeve has a bit of edge wear & general wear but no major damage.
