This is a UNIQUE Acetate-only seven cut album on Regent Sound Studios Inc.,!
Totally unknown acetate-only. It is a mixture of garage and soul!
The announcer on “Heat Wave” introduces “The Peppermint Lounge is proud to present Columbia Records recording artist Donna Marie!”
I assume this is the same Donna Marie that sang “The Penthouse” & “Pretty Thing”.
I am not sure if she is the same singer that is on the other female lead tracks - billed to Sandy Contantinople (Constantinople?).
The band to backs her on her tracks (5 of them) and then they get to cut loose on 2 cuts of their own.
HCuts include I Think I'm Going Out Of My Head (Sandy), You Don't Know (garage band), Knock On Wood (garage band), Heat Wave (Sandy), It's The Same Old Song (Sandy), Break Some Bread With Me (Sandy), But It's Alright (Sandy).
