Description

DONNY HATHAWAY'S "EXTENSION OF A MAN" VINYL RECORD ALBUM from 1973 on ATLANTIC (K40487) STEREO in a GATEFOLD SLEEVE. Classic early 70s album from the soul artist & produced by Arif Mardin. Beautiful music. Vinyl is in Very Good condition. There are some passages, particularly Track 2 on Sides 1 & 2 where crackles/clicks can be heard at high volume, but doesn't detract from the overall quality of the record. (I have visually inspected the record, whilst not an expert, I can see a "ding" on both sides at that point which may be causing it. Possibly a minor pressing issue). Cover is also in Very Good/Good condition for a 50 year old album. A bit faded at the edges and some grubbiness on the front cover. Spine is very well intact (see pics).

Inner gatefold in lovely condition (slightly grubby where it meets the spine, top middle). It's starting to come away a tiny bit, top right hand corner- maybe an inch or so - (can repair with double sided tape if requested), but OK.

Inner sleeve is in Good/Fair condition- no rips, a few creases, starting to yellow, etc (see pic).

When I bought the record, it came in a plastic sleeve for the cover, which I've kept/will send.

Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd class in appropriate packaging for an LP record.
