On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Donovan called "H.M.S. Donovan" and is an INCREDIBLY rare 1971 UK Stereo 1st pressing!!! NOW THIS IS SERIOUSLY RARE!!!! THIS IS A VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING OF 'H.M.S. DONOVAN' IN STUNNING CONDITION WITH ITS ORIGINAL POSTER!!!! IT IS HARD ENOUGH TO FIND STANDARD COPIES OF THIS LP - EVEN WITHOUT THE POSTER - BUT TO FIND A 1ST PRESSING IN THIS CONDITION WITH ITS ORIGINAL POSTER IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL 1971 Dawn Stereo 1st Pressing, and is very VERY hard to find indeed!!!! The Cat. No is DNLD 4001 on the Orange Dawn label (see picture) and is a Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Donovan at his best!!!! Any fan of Donovan, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE ONLY BEEN PLAYED ONCE OR TWICE AT THE MOST!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! BOTH RECORDS STILL HAVE THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the playing of the records is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! They play with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The records must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The records also comes in their ORIGINAL inners!!!! THE POSTER IS IN PERFECT CONDITION AND HAS CLEARLY NEVER BEEN REMOVED FROM THE COVER!!!! INTERESTINGLY THE POSTER HAS BEEN KEPT IN MINT CONDITION INSIDE A PERFECTLY FITTING POLYTHENE LINER!!!! THE POLYTHENE LINER LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL AS IT PERFECTLY FITS THE POSTER!!!! The Gatefold Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (Cover is VERY flat looking) and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in STUNNING condition with NO yellowing, NO writing, and NO grubbyness!!!! The cover must grade Excellent+!!!! THIS IS A STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THIS MASSIVELY RARE DOUBLE LP WITH ITS ORIGINAL POSTER!!!! DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE LP!!!!
