Description
A great opportunity to buy a copy of a DOUBLE VINYL LP from the 1970’s by Donovan called "H.M.S. Donovan".
This is a U.K. pressing released in 1971 on the Pye subsidiary label Dawn (DNLD 4001) (stereo); it has a total of 28 tracks (see photos for track listing).
Please note this item does NOT have the foldout poster included.
The records are in a lovely clean NEAR-MINT condition. I always grade and examine records under a bright table lamp and there are very few surface marks to indicate the records have ever been played. I have only played selected tracks and they play superbly.
The labels are completely clean and free from any writing, marks or major defects.
The records are perfectly flat and have no warps of any description.
The matrix numbers are: - DNLD 4001 A-1 T (side one), DNLD 4001 B-1 T (side two), DNLD 4001 C-1 T (side three) and DNLD 4001 D-1 T (side four).
The records are housed in their original poly-lined inner sleeves in EXCELLENT condition, though fading a little with age.
The gatefold picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are very strong and the text on the spine is clearly readable. There is just a thin amount of shelf wear along the bottom edge and bottom corner. The opening edges have minimal signs of wear.
Overall an exceptional example of this highly collectable 40 year old record and cover.
