DONOVAN MELLOW YELLOW LP - 

RARE PROMO COPY - LOOK!

JUST REMOVED FROM OVER (20) YEARS OF CLIMATE CONTROLLED STORAGE!

This auction is for a rare PROMO (DJ) 1966 original pressing of the "MELLOW YELLOW" album by DONOVAN.

As a radio DJ for nearly 30 years, I received this promo copy in 1966. The LP was brand new when I received it and filed it in my collection.

I did play the first cut, Mellow Yellow on the A side of the record a few times for an oldies show I produced in the home studio during the 1980s. Because I did play that cut a few times I rate this album as a very strong MINT MINUS.

This is EPIC Record Number LN 24239 and is a MONO Promo Copy (DJ)

 

HERE IS THE VINYL AND LP JACKET CONDITION:

VINYL: Strong MINT MINUS with very limited play of Side One, Cut One. The vinyl is in the original plain white paper sleeve.

JACKET: MINT MINUS: Jacket showing some signs of storage wear with very slight record ring wear on the front and rear bottom.  There is also some jacket bend marks on the upper left front only. Jacket has NO splits. 

On the upper left corner of the front, and the upper right hand corner of the back of the jacket, there are small white labels with my record collection file number printed on the label. These labels are approximately 1/2 by 3/4 inch in size and can be peeled off.
