Description
Up for auction is a super rare copy of the Donovan album Wear Your Love Like Heaven, originally released in the U.S. on Epic Records (LN 24349) in 1967.

Note: Mono pressings of this album rarely show up for sale--this is the first mono copy in shrink I've come across in 30 years of collecting. Virtually all copies that you'll find of this album are stereo remixes which have inferior sound quality to these original mono copies.
The U.S. pressings of this record are the true first pressings, released prior to the U.K. versions of this album, thus making this a truly rare copy of this Psych-Folk classic.
Condition:
Cover looks great, no significant age discoloration or wear. Factory punch hole upper left corner (see photo). Back looks nice and clean, faint signs of age to white border, but not significant. Shrink is completely intact, no tears or losses--looks fantastic. Impossible to upgrade this cover. Archival condition. Grade: Near Mint (NM)
Vinyl also looks great, still has its original glossy shine. No apparent scratches or scuffs. Under a strong light, some faint pressing "rash" shows up, but it's part of the normal factory pressing, and it does not in any way affect the quality of the playback, which is excellent. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes. Vinyl looks like it's maybe been played only once or twice at most but handled with great care. Very nice original.
