Decca 40006, 78 RPM
Record is in E- condition, looks great and plays beautifully. Labels are good.

"AS TIME GOES BY" - as played and sung by Dooley Wilson in the 1942 film "Casablanca".
Arthur "Dooley" Wilson (April 3, 1886 – May 30, 1953) was an American actor and singer who is best remembered as the piano-player and singer "Sam" who sings "As Time Goes By" at the request of Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman) in the 1942 film, Casablanca – the Sam in the famously misremembered line "Play it again, Sam" – a phrase which was never actually spoken in the film.
Both songs as recorded on this record were sung in the movie by Dooley Wilson in his own style. Record is number 40006.
The record will be shipped with a new paper sleeve in a new poly outer sleeve.
The version of this record for "As Time Goes By" in the film Casablanca has become one of the most iconic songs in movie history along with arguably the most famous film in movie history - Casablanca.
Wilson was unable to record a single of "As Time Goes By" when the film came out due to a musicians' recording ban, but these sides were recorded the following year when the ban was lifted.
Condition is graded as E-, just short of E, which is the highest possible grade. It plays beautifully and sounds fabulous.
