Here’s the story , super Doors fan I buy limited and collectibles from the online Doors Store. I preordered this Record Store Day 2014 release from the site. Something went wrong and they didn’t have any left but they send me this limited edition RSD RECORD i think they pressed 5500 . Ok it comes with a note apologizing and page 2 is a signed note from John Densmore and Robby Krieger as you can see in the pictures. I think I tossed the first part of the letter as I can’t find it luckily I framed the autographed page . I looked at the ink under a microscope used for working on pc boards and it’s pen ink not inkjet . Now for the album This is supposed to be a numbered album as it says on the sticker I CANNOT FIND THE ISSUES NUMBER . MAKES THE STRANGE SITUATION STRANGER . I WOULD CONSIDER THIS A MISTAKE. IT IS ALSO R1 6001 most of the others 8E 6001 not sure if it’s important but I couldn’t find the R1 6001 that easily. I read reviews and a lot of complaints about skipping right out of the sleeve check out Discog . My own personal feelings is the is a collectors item I have not opened it I have had it sins 2014 the fun part is the no numbers and the signatures . Once it’s yours you do what you like , the fact that it’s not addressed to me and it’s just a Hi there it can be you.. take a look at the pictures for condition and description ask questions before you bid. There may be factory imperfections I may have missed so look hard .
