    Original US stereo pressing Promo issue from 1969. These white label promos were never sold in stores; they were only issued to radio stations & music industry insiders. This copy will have richer sound than even an original stock copy because promo copies were drawn from the freshest run off the stampers at the manufacturing stage. Original gatefold cover still sports the original sticker which reads, "Includes their hits Touch Me, Tell All the People, Wishful Sinful." Singer Jim Morrison, guitarist Robby Krieger (he wrote "Touch Me"), keyboardist Ray Manzarek & drummer John Densmore. Orchestral arrangements by Paul Harris. Trombone solo by George Bohanon; bass Harvey Brooks or Doug Lubahn. Produced by Paul A. Rothschild & Jac Holtzman; engineered by Bruce Botnick. DISC - VERY GOOD

  We give great importance to grading our items accurately. No warping, chips, cracks or residue on the disc or dead wax. There are some mild scuff, flecks & abrasions on the platter surface, but no scratches of substance & no skips. Side one shows a small loss of rainbow sheen, though side two looks better preserved. Album has been stored upright in a safe way.

 COVER - VERY GOOD

  No stains, smudges or ink spills. No creases, cuts, bubbles, writing or color fading. Slight amount of speckled ring wear & rubbing. The beautiful illustration on the inside gatefold cover is in Near Mint condition with no blemishes worth mentioning. Great color & reproduction. Noticeable amount of tattered corner banging at bottom right, but the other three corners look much better. Edge wear but no seam splits. Title info on spine is free of any dings & is fully readable; a little wear around the top selection number on spine. Vintage white Elektra label looks perfect with no marks & no signs of contact. Sharp cut spindle hole is free even of faint spindle brushings.
