On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Doors called 'Waiting For The Sun' and is a 1968 UK MONO 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Elektra label!!!! THIS IS A SERIOUSLY RARE LP AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 1968 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING!!!! THIS 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING IS VERY DIFFERENT WHEN COMPARED TO ALL LATER PRESSINGS - AS IT HAS A FLIPBACK GATEFOLD COVER, WITH FOUR FLIPBACKS ON THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD!!!! ONLY A HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER CAME LIKE THIS - BEFORE THE FLIPBACKS WERE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DROPPED, AND ALL LATER COVERS SIMPLY DONT HAVE THEM!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1968 UK MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ELEKTRA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND ULTRA RARE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 1968 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH FLIPBACK COVER - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Elektra UK MONO 1st pressing from 1968 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is EKL 4024 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Elektra Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Doors at their best!!!! Any fan of The Doors, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in BRILLIANT condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! There is also a slightly 'lighter' area in the orange colour on one label (NOT a sticker tear) - though this looks to be from manufacture, and certainly is NOT from any wear!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 light hairlines, only 1 VERY light scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with barely ANY clicks/pops AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, only some EXTREMELY low level touches of VERY slight background crackle in a VERY few places, and only some EXTREMELY low level touches of background sound in a VERY few places (though mostly NONE)!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press FLIPBACK Gatefold Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has barely ANY edge wear AT ALL (NOT through the colour), barely ANY spinal wear AT ALL, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed), barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, and NO writing (apart a MEGA faint TINY trace on one part of the cover - though this is so MEGA faint, it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to see and is virtually INVISIBLE)!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated FLIPBACK inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, only VERY slight rubbing (NONE on the white side, only VERY slight on the black side), and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AS A 100% GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WITH FLIPBACK GATEFOLD COVER - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
