From 1968,come The Doors with their third album Waiting For The Sun on Elektra EKL4024 MONO gold label. Original color MONO label of their eleven track album, including Summer's Almost Gone, Hello I Love You, Waiting For The Sun, The Unknown Soldier and more! Getting very hard to find the MONO of this LP! This is only the third MONO I've had of this record is 35 plus years! Yes, I play graded it as well as visual since sometimes I am surprised (in a good way). This was one of those times! It plays VG+ and better. Some songs were near mint in their sound! The MONO sounds completely different than the stereo! Much clearer vocals and instrumentation, as if they were in the room with you versus being in a large studio!

All records graded VISUALLY WITH 150 WATT BULB AND 35 PLUS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE!! I GRADE VISUALLY ONLY, PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME HOW THE LP SOUNDS REGARDING POPS,CLICKS,ETC. I DO NOT PLAY THE LPS. THE GRADING I GIVE THE LP IS MEANT TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT HOW IT WILL SOUND!!
ANY AND ALL FLAWS WILL BE LISTED AND DESCRIBED IN DETAIL BEFORE THE GRADING IS GIVEN. IF THERE IS NO PARTICULAR FLAW LISTED, THEN IT IS NOT PRESENT IN THE ITEM! IF THERE ARE NO FLAWS LISTED AT ALL, THEN THE ITEM IS EITHER MINT MINUS, STILL SEALED OR NEW AND NEVER PLAYED. THE DEFINITION OF VG+ IS THAT THE RECORD HAS SOME MARKS BUT WILL PLAY FINE AND HAS MANY PLAYS LEFT. THE DEFINITION OF VG++ IS THAT THE RECORD MAY HAVE A MARK OR TWO, BUT LOOKS EXTREMELY CLOSE TO NEAR MINT AND HAS A LOT OF LIFE LEFT! THE DEFINITION OF MINT MINUS IS THAT THE ITEM HAS BEEN TOUCHED BY HUMAN HANDS AND PERHAPS PLAYED ONCE.FLAWS: Cover has a small tear in middle of side seam to left front,seam is banged up with some paper loss,quite worn,corners have white. Rear cover has perfunctory high spot rubs. Record has spindle marks.
GRADING: Cover is VG and record is VG visually,plays better. Labels are VG+.
