 There's not a lot known about New York-based Treat records. The label was started in March, 1955 by Murray Katz and included Larry Newton, formerly of Derby records, as the general manager. I believe there were just 7 releases, on both 45 and 78, and the label folded sometime in 1955 - only in existance a few months. Many believe the Inspirators on Treat and Old Town are the same group as the Five Stars. Truly a mysterious and sought-after label.
