broken promises / humble heart.. ..this has always been reputed to have buddy holly on guitar, so i googled "sherry davis buddy holly" and sure enough there are many sites that verify this fact..one was about the norman petty clovis sessions and many other buddy holly discographies etc. ..this is on a texas label from 1957. it has machine stamped numbers in the dead wax...the music is a teen doowop with sherry on leads and a group backing, then there is a buddy holly guitar solo...these never show up in this kind of condition! ..this is an ultra clean copy of this record, there is a sticker removed slight stain on flip label..the flip has some very light scuffs/scratches that would make it an excellent vg++ and still close to mint- condition. ...the "broken promises" side is in mint- condition. ...hear both below ....PLEASE GIVE IT A SPIN!
