Hello from Washington, DC!
Up for sale is one of the rarest Tribe LPs - Reflections in the Sea of Nurnen, Doug Hammond, 1975. Popsike.com lists a total of 27 copies of this record selling since 2006.
Grade – Record: looks VG to VG+, with the majority of the album playing closer to the VG+ grade. Decent sheen. Cover: VG moderate to heavy ring/seam/corner wear. Seam split a few inches on top. General overall wear.
General sound grade – 7 to 7.5 on a scale of 1-10. Despite some intermittent mild to moderate pops and ticks, the sound quality is still strong with no distortion of sounds. No skips.
DETAILED SOUND GRADING
Side 1
Plays mostly clean with just a hint or two of noise in the quiet spots. There is one feelable mark that causes three successive mild to moderate pops.
Side 2
Just a bit more noise throughout than side 1 but still no major problems and not really that noticeable, doesn’t really detract much from the listening experience. There are some mild to moderate pops and ticks more noticeable on the 2nd track, which is the most quiet track on side two.
