Description

Up for auction is an original pressing of the 1956 Doug Watkins LP "Watkins At Large", Transition 20. The glossy vinyl is visually in EX condition only light marks and clean labels. The vinyl does play with four loud pops on the first track that appears to be cause by a pressing defect. The other tracks play great. Due to the problem with the first track this album is not for the audiophile. The glossy cover, with the blank back, is in VG+ condition with no writing, does have seam and spine wear. Graphics are nice. The record does not include a booklet. Players include: DOUG WATKINS; HANK MOBLEY; DONALD BYRD; KENNY BURRELL; DUKE JORDAN & ARTHUR TAYLOR. CLEANED ON A VPI RECORD CLEANER. VINYL IS STORED IN AN AUDIOPHILE INNER SLEEVE.
