Downliners Sect: “Little Egypt/Find Out what’s Happening” on Columbia DS 2252
Great and rare Swedish pressing of this 45 from the incomparable Sect, with a different B-side than the UK one. No reserve as usual, and check out the other two Sect-45’s I have listed. UK R&B-poonk doesn’t get any better than this! As Sect-maniac Don Craine would’ve put it: “YAY!”
The PS has a 3 cm split on the spine, and some soft bend-marks in the corners. Nice, clean and sharp-looking otherwise. This is also the rarer variation with red lettering on the cover instead of the more “normal” one, which uses orange. The PS is graded a strong VG+ overall.
The vinyl is glossy and clean, with only a few superficial and hardly noticeable brush-marks and hair-lines. No original centre, and there’s a tear on the B-side stemming from the removal of it. Take a look at the scans for more details. The record is graded a strong VG to VG+ all in all.
