On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Downliner Sect called 'The Sect' and is a Mono UK 1st pressing from 1964!!!! THIS IS A MASSIVELY RARE LP!!!! YOU JUST NEVER SEE IT!!!! DONT MISS OUT!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Columbia UK 1st pressing and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 33SX 1658 on the ORIGINAL Blue/Black Columbia Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality Downliners Sect at their best!!!! Any fan of The Downliners Sect, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has 1 line on Side 1 (non sounding), 2 or 3 small lines on Side 2 (these barely sound AT ALL - NO loud pops), and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuff lines only visible under light!!!! THE WHOLE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, only a few VERY low level clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps and NO crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade visually Very Good if not better (PROPERLY graded - NOT trashed) and plays better still!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also has its ORIGINAL Emitex inner sleeve!!!! The FLIPBACK Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is still flat looking), only slight corner wear, NO rips, NO tears, NO staining and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! The unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, only 2 or 3 faint age marks, NO yellowing, and the cover even has its ORIGINAL Record Shop price sticker!!!! The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!
HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!!
