Here we have a RARE 4 track E.P. & a relatively RARE / OBSCURE 7" SINGLE record (45rpm) by DOWNLINERS SECT ; on the COLUMBIA label . First Issue. E.P. In a Picture sleeve; Single in a Columbia Company sleeve. A slice of Classic 60's R & B/Pop/Rock.
The E.P. titled "THE SECT SING SICK SONGS" comprising of 4 songs, is in overall VERY GOOD condition. The vinyl is VERY GOOD+ (some surface marks) & the Picture Sleeve is VERY GOOD - (minus) (a tad grubby & has a very small tear in the opening edge). Plays very well. Columbia SEG 8438 (1965). LISTED @ £100 in Mint condition, this copy has to be worth at least half of that.
The Single is; Side One :- Baby What's Wrong . Side Two :- Be A Sect Maniac ! . Vinyl GOOD+ (lots of surface marks) / Custom sleeve VERY GOOD- ( a bit tatty) . Columbia DB 7300 (1964) . Plays O.K. LISTED @ £30 in MINT condition. This is worth at least £5 ?, given it's overall condition.
The E.P. has been played a few times. It is still in VERY GOOD condition. It plays very well. This is, overall, a Very Good but, not perfect package; my guess is that you won't find a better copy of this obscure, scarce record anywhere else.
