Downliners Sect, "The Rock Sect's In", rare original 1966 UK LP on Columbia SX 6028 mono. This is the "sold in the UK" copy that is valued at £200 in mint in the 2016 Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide. Matrices are XAX 3022-1 and XAX 3023-1 and the stamper letter on both sides is R which probably makes this an early pressing. Tracks: hang on sloopy / fortune teller / hey hey hey hey / everything i've got to give / outside / i'm hooked on you / comin' home baby / why don't you smile now / don't lie to me / may the bird of paradise fly up your nose / he was a square / i'm looking for a woman / the rock sect's in again / brand new cadillac. Laminated flipback sleeve will grade Vg+, no terminal issues, minor wear, rubbing along the bottom which has resulted in some top paper loss (may be visible in photo), age grime to rear, minor wear to the spine which has resulted in the loss of the i and n in "Downliners". Disc is a visual Vg+ also, odd minor light mark. However, plays well, clearly and loudly with just minor crackle between the tracks. Cheque / P.O. / Paypal, domestic UK, Overseas: Paypal.
