Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS. 

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --DR. STRANGELY STRANGE--HEAVY PETTING--UK ORIGINAL  PRESSING. 1970, stereo 6360 009 The 15th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED. A very difficult sleeve to find in collectable condition, and there is a very convincing counrtfeit out there. But this is the real thing and although it is not mint it still in a great collectable condition. The colours are very strong and vibrant. The top openingedges are EX . The bottom edge is also EX . The front (not the flaps) is in great condition  with  NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS AND NO RING WEAR  EX+. The rear  is in similar condition with NO RING WEAR and snall ammount of creasing to the top edge EX. The left front part of the flaps is in  EX condition with minor wear. The right one has a repaired tear ( see close-up photo). The rear of the flaps are both in N/MINT condition. There isn't s spine so to speak but the spine information was printed on the bottom edge of the flaps and is nearly always worn off and unfortunately this one is the same. There is quite a bit of wear and has worn through about 1 inch (see close-up photo), there is wear to the corners. I mentioned ther being a fake copy out there and you can spot this because the sleeve was copied from one that had the spine info rubbed off but it does not feel worn . This album comes with an ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE . All in all this is in respectable condition for a 38year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve.EX-.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears. There are only light spindle marks on both sides, this album has obviously always been handled with great care EX/EX

VINYL..... Both sides of this classic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see  light surface hair lines but NO SCRATCHES OR SCUFFS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are dust crackles that can only be heard in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX/EX.
