    For auction here is a copy of  DR STRANGELY STRANGE's  classic RARE second Lp  HEAVY PETTING  as originally released here in the UK on the collectible LARGE VERTIGO SWIRL label. This is a rare  FIRST PRESS from back in 1970 with the original LARGE SWIRL BLACK and WHITE VERTIGO LABEL and comes with the ORIGINAL VERTIGO SPIRAL SLEEVE.
   Under a 100W bright light the Lp retains an excellent sheen even though there are visible marks, predominantly hairlines but also one or two more noticeable marks and blemishes. This is confirmed on playing as SIDE 1 is graded at EXCELLENT MINUS with only minor surface noise audible in quiet places whereas SIDE 2 is graded at VERY GOOD PLUS with more noticeable surface noise and some audible clicks and pops here and there but certainly no skips or jumps.
   The classic BLACK and WHITE SWIRL labels are also graded EXCELLENT MINUS with very few visible spindle marks but there is some sticker residue visible on Side 1. 
   The rare THIN CARD DIE CUT PICTURE sleeve is graded at  VERY GOOD PLUS with visible wear in places - corner rub and sticker removal mark on the back top right. Also there is tear to the front flap on the right which has been repaired at some point and some visible ringwear within - not visible when flaps are closed etc but no splits or writing and the spine remains 100% etc.
    This copy comes with the ORIGINAL VERTIGO SWIRL SLEEVE which is graded at EXCELLENT MINUS with little wear - just the odd crease.
