Hi, and welcome to "psych_out!" auctions!!!

I specialize in 50's, 60's, and early 70's records of almost every genre - Psych, Prog, Psychedelic Funk, Soul, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Pop, Folk, Garage, Acid, Freakbeat, Rock, Jazz e.t.c and everything in between! I've been dealing records for years, but i'm new to the ebay game so i'd like to tell you all of my intentions. I travel all over the UK hunting out the VERY BEST records I can find. Obviously, 90%+ of the ones I can find are completely trashed from the hard living ways and the rock 'n' roll, drug and booze fuelled debauchery of all the wild parties of the times, but the golden 10%? I offer them to all of you serious record collectors out there!!!

I'm going to start by listing 20 LP's a week every Friday and Saturday, all timed to end 10 days later on Monday and Tuesday night. Hopefully after a while, i'll be able to step things up a gear or two in good time. I'll only ever offer THE BEST, MOST AMAZING, MOST IMPORTANT, VERY RAREST UK 1ST PRESS ORIGINAL RELEASE RECORDS I can ever possibly find!!! I won't insult you with later 2nd pressings unless they are of exceptional quality and rarity. I'm sure you love good music as much as me, especially when it's a 1st Press LP, direct from the master tape, as the musicians intended it to be heard (none of this "digitally remastered", weak reissued, remixed rubbish from hired hands with one eye on the mixing desk and the other on the clock! If these session men really knew how genius should sound, surely they would've been geniuses themselves?! There will only ever be one Hendrix, and that's just a tiny example).

I intend to become one of the best sellers on ebay and would like to thank all of you potential bidders for your support and taste in music!!! I strictly grade all LP's I list, visually and sonically (on a very lightweight turntable) using the UK RC standards as customer satisfaction is highly important to me, and i'll always do my very best not to let you down. About : Ultra rare Original UK 1st Press!!! This MASSIVELY RARE LP sold barely anything (LP's were VERY expensive for most people back then!) and therefore had a very, very small run and is INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND, especially in this condition!!! AN absolute classic LP, incredible music!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP, bid now!!!

Brian Wilson's masterpiece. You don't need me to tell you that this is EASILY one of the VERY BEST albums of ALL TIME!!! Constantly floating around the summit of all these polls you see, and it will sit there until the world blows up because this LP is simply UNTOUCHABLE!!!

The LP :

Labels : Beautiful 1st Press labels. Both sides are GREAT with NO writing whatsoever!!! There's only a small amount of  spindle wear and some mild age spots!!! Still FANTASTIC for a 36 year old record!!! Both must grade overall as Very Good if not better!!!  

Record - Visual : Spectacular Ultra Thick 1st Press Vinyl!!! Nice bright, clean and shiny as if it was just pressed!!! Fantastic jet black mirror like surfaces, it looks OK with NO groovewear or deep scuffs!!! The only thing that stops this reaching the upper realms of a top VG grade are three nasty looking scratches on side B, but thankfully they don't sound anywhere near as bad as they look and only click occasionally. Other than that, the only blemishes are just the usual mild age wear such as a little surface rubbing, a few mild scuffs, light and wispy sleeve traces and a few hairline scratches (only visible in a certain light) mostly caused from where it has sat or been removed from it's cover over the years!!! Thankfully, none of these marks affect play too much at all thanks to the thick quality pressing, and is still GREAT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Must grade overall visually as Good++++ if not better!!!

Record - Audio : Thankfully, it plays EVEN BETTER than it's visual grade with fantastic stereo seperation and clarity!!! It really sounds great with NO hops, distortion, sticks, or skips!!! Only (like pretty much all records) has light "bluesman's fag" static crackle, but it doesn't overshadow or ruin the music AT ALL!!! I'd even argue it gives it added soul!!! A hugely enjoyable listen - The music is TRULY loud and clear!!! BRILLIANT for a record of this age and rarity!!! Side A grades as VG++ (occasional light pop / click, some mild passages of static, though mostly crystal clear). Side B grades as Good++++ (Light clicks and static - though only quite loud on the last track, could possibly improve with a clean - other than that, still quite clear overall) Must grade overall audiably as Very Good (maybe minus) if not better!!!

Sleeve : Original 1st Press unlaminated gimmick cover complete in one piece!!! (missing the swirly inner, though these are very common and easy to find) Very hard to find in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn and worn due to age, rarity, and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT too bad and is still complete which is a revelation for this sleeve!!! NO graffiti, and still quite strong and solid after all these years!!! Only has usual signs of ageing such as some whitening / shelf wear to the edges, a few age spots (would probably clean off), some tape / repair work to some tears on the left flap of the front (doesn't look too bad), few light creases e.t.c. Still MILES better than most i've seen!!! EXCEPTIONAL for this sleeve!!! Must grade overall as Good++++ if not better!!! (apologies for any light reflection in the pics)

Summary : A GREAT copy of this ASTONISHINGLY RARE 1st Press LP!!! Don't miss out!!!

UK bidders, I accept paypal, cash (at your own risk), or postal orders. I will reluctantly accept cheques, although they will take at least a week to clear. That is why I prefer the other methods, as it means I can get your item to you faster. International bidders, I can only accept Paypal, IMO, or Bank Transfer! I only accept cash in £’s. Unfortunately, I can’t accept any other internet payment other than paypal.
