Description

This is a fine copy from a 1989 reissue of the soundtrack to a film that provided an enhanced version of former Harvard prof Timothy Leary's lectures about psychedelics, originally released on the Mercury label in 1967.  The LP's aim is to provide a sort of aural equivalent of an acid trip.  Given the then-popular association made between tripping and Indian mysticism c/w longstanding ideas about the "Orient" as an exotic foreign place, Leary's narration is accompanied by Indian music (played by Western musicians).  Definitely a period piece, but a worthwhile historical artifact for those interested in the period.  This pressing was the first to reissue the LP in any format.  The jacket is close to pristine (M-).  The disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise (EX).

I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.

If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
