7 DAY AUCTION

Dragonfly – “Celestial empire” / “Prince of Amboyna”, Holland Philips, 1968.

 

Record: VG+ (has mainly light or plain superficial stuff, but also some light fairly inaudible scratches + an ugly thing at the run-in of Celestial, causing a few pops BEFORE the track starts – overall a nice copy)


Sleeve: Photo copy – very well made and near real if not for a slight colour difference and the “modern” paper quality.

 

No need to introduce this killer – this is their better and rarer 45 from that period, often confused with “Celestial dreams” due to the similar title. Both sides, though different style-wise, are superb and perhaps on the top 50 of Europe 45’s from that period (there’s a lot of them;). The photo copy sleeve is made by a Dutch dealer named Dirk, who happens to make really good photo copies and glues them together on the sides - just like the real thing… beware??

Strict visual grading under halogen lamp - sound from actual record - no filters etc. Records will be sent from Sweden or Italy - depending where I am at the moment. I ONLY SEND USING EXPEDITED / SIGNED-FOR / REGISTERED MAIL.
