Description

Here's an extremely rare artifact from the brief career of the great Norman Whitfield-produced group Dream Machine. The short-lived group was mostly made up of former Undisputed Truth members, including Yvonne Stevens, Lloyd Williams, Melvin Stewart and Joe Harris (also of the Fabulous Peps). This is a set of four 1-sided reference acetates that were cut at Warner Bros. Recording Studios in 1981. The two 33 rpm 12" discs contain the terrific self-titled 1981 Dream Machine LP; and the two 45 rpm 10" discs contain a pair of tracks from the LP as well—possibly intended as a single that ended up not being released. The 12" LP discs are in VG+ condition with some surface scuffs and marks but excellent playback. The 10" single discs are in excellent condition. The set includes both original Warner studio sleeves.
