No reserve on this one - the original and exceptionally hard to find EP with black Atlantic label - from THE DRIFTERS, self titled, containing the great tracks : FOOLS FALL IN LOVE / ADORABLE - b/w - STEAMBOAT / RUBY BABY. This EP is on ATLANTIC RECORDS #592 - black label with silver Atlantic block letters. Pressed and released in 1957. THE VINYL is in Mint Condition - it is bright, shiny, clean, no scratches, no scruff marks. The LABEL is in Mint Condition. The EP COVER is in close to Near Mint Condition - no ringwear, no handwriting, no scotch tape, no record indention, no creases at the corners, no rips or tears, there's a minute indention at the top edge - a beautiful copy with slight patina of age, and at the upper and lower edge just at the opening is minute split seam - very tiny. The back cover has very slight bubbling of the slick - not initially visible, but you can feel it when you put your finge on it - this is quite minor. It is not from water damage - it is lifting from age. THIS IS SIMPLY AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE EP!!!! It has never been played as it came from the back room of a record store and into my storage unit!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE EARLIER AND MORE DEFINITIVE EXAMPLES OF EARLY RHYTHM & BLUES MAGIC. AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE 1957 FIRST PRESSING WITH SILVER LETTERING AND LOGO ON BLACK LABEL BACKGROUND. I'm very happy it will be having a new home soon. So many of these early EP's were broght to a lot of wild parties and good times were had by all dancing to the great sounds of The Drifters - most covers barely made it. This one is NOT one of those worn copies - it has not been played, and stored by me for over 40 years after I got it from the back room of a record store where it had been stored from release. THE RECORD RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It's one of those records that when you hold it in your hands, your heart pumps a little bit faster.

These are hard to find items, and I like to ship US Postal Priority as I've found there's much less chance for loss or damage to the item, but I am happy to send it whichever way you wish. International is mailed via Air Letter Post, packed sturdily for the trip. I mail once a week, usually on Thursdays. I am not a brick and mortar store - I am a private collector that is dispersing part of my collection to new homes.

MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND SHIPPING: You may want to bid on more than one record to EXTENSIVELY save on shipping - the 1st 7" record AND second 7" record is the normal one regular shipping fee ( the 2nd is shipped free in the package with the first record), and thereafter, each 7" record is 50 cents each in the US / $1.00 for albums/12" singles.

International, shipped Air Letter Post, the first two 7" singles are the same one shipping fee, and the others up to 5 records for 50 cents for each 7" single and $1.00 for each album / 12" record - if 5 or more, than it's Parcel Air Post charge plus 50 cents or $1.00 depending on size of the record. If you have ordered a 12" and a 7", the 12" size shipping fee applies. A lengthy explanation yes, but saves you lots of money.
