Here's ANOTHER hard to find album in GREAT condition!..
This is the second issue from 1972..
Continuing the "NightTripper" imagery of his first 2 albums,this is more stoned,trippy,voodoo New Orleans Gumbo!..
The back up musicians including Eric Clapton,Victor Brox,Chris Mercer,Carl Radle,Jim Gordon,Jim Price,Graham Bond,Steve York,Fuzzy Samuels and The Memphis Horns..Back up singers include Jagger,Doris Troy,P.P.Arnold,Tammi Lyn and Bobby Whitlock..
Originally issued by Atlantic on 31st August 1971..This copy is probably from early 1972 (It has both the old Atlantic matrix numbers and the K numbers in the run out grooves)..K 40250..UK pressing in a non laminated,textured gatefold sleeve..
Play grade:...I found NO fault at all with the play grade on this album..It's got a clean,undistorted sound..There are no clicks,pops or crackle..It really does play that well!..
It looks as good as it plays..It's clean and shiney with no scratches or scuffs and it still has a beautiful sheen as well..In fact,it looks unplayed!..
The disc plays flat on the deck with no edge warps or dishing..
The labels are undamaged (factory fresh!)..There is no spindle wear at all.I may have been the first to have played this!....
The sleeve is also in beautiful condition..Non laminated,textured gatefolds looked beautiful when they were new but were not designed to last the ravages of 40 years..Well,this one has..It's crisp and clean..Sure,there is a little rubbing to the bottom edges (but that's almost inevitable with storage) and the corners have light wear..Otherwise it looks superb!..
It has no rips,tears,seam splits,stains scribble,stickers or sellotape or other such defects...There is minimal cornerwear or dischape,the edges are straight,the colours are unfaded..The spine is undamaged with clearly legible text...
The insert is as new...
You are welcome to collect this in person or from The Southend Record Fair (11th May,8th June) and then the second Sunday in each month)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...
