Description
This is the original UK LP by DRUID, TOWARD THE SUN, 1975 1st Press on the EMI label EMC 3081
Matrix numbers are: Side 1:- YAX 4971-2, Side 2:- YAX 4972-2
Stamper codes are, Side 1:- 1 / M, Side 2:- 1 / R
Additionally etched on each side in the dead wax / run off areas is 'RJL'
The original UK 1975 1st issue textured cover is in a Stunning MINT- condition. The cover maintains all it's bright original vibrant ,clean, bright and fresh. The spine is superb, solid and perfectly readable. No seam splits, no unwanted writing.
The vinyl is in EX+ condition. The vinyl shows all it's original shine and lustre. I have played both sides very carefully, the vinyl both sides plays with super sharp clarity, with deep warm rich depth, great playing vinyl. On side 1, on the last track is a notable small mark, however, plays through perfectly, and can only hear some low level clicks, soon disappears, doesn't spoil the enjoyment of the track at all, very minor.
Some very light crackle to be heard in a few places in the quiet sections.
Their is NO sticking, NO jumps. Other than this and a few light non-audioable hairlines on Side 1, the vinyl would be graded a lot higher.
The label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, no scuffs, no wanted writing, maintaining all their original bright vibrant colour
The original 1975 UK 1st issue thick white cartridge paper inner / lyric sleeve is in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, no seam splits, no unwanted writing.
