THE LACQUERED AND GLOSSY FRONT COVER STOCK WITH ONLY A HINT OF ANY RUB WEAR. BACK WHITE CARD STOCK WITH SOME LIGHT RUB WEAR AND AGE DISCOLORATION. CORNERS IN GOOD CONDITION WITHOUT DAMAGES. A FEW SMALL NICKS TO SLEEVE EDGE FRONT.

SOME LIGHT RUB MARKS AROUND THE SPINDLE HOLE. THE HIGH LUSTER VINYL BLANK WITH SOME LIGHT AND FINE SURFACE RUB MARKS AND LIGHT SURFACE RUB SCUFF PLAY LINES UNDER ANGLED LIGHT. I'VE TEST PLAYED THIS LP ON THE VPI TURNTABLE AND PROFESSIONAL SOUND SYSTEM AND IT WAS A WONDERFUL PLAY. ONCE IN A WHILE SOME LIGHT AND FAINT SURFACE BACKGROUND DISTORTION WAS HEARD, BUT NOT A DISTRACTION.

If Duane Eddy's instrumental hits from the late '50s can sound unduly basic and repetitive (especially when taken all at once), he was vastly influential. Perhaps the most successful instrumental rocker of his time, he may have also been the man most responsible (along with Chuck Berry) for popularizing the electric rock guitar. His distinctively low, twangy riffs could be heard on no less than 15 Top 40 hits between 1958 and 1963. He was also one of the first rock stars to successfully crack the LP market.
