BRUNSWICK A9331: DUKE ELLINGTON AND HIS FAMOUS ORCHESTRA Swing Low/Stars
This is one of the biggest 1930's rarities in the Ellington discography. Side 2 was only issued on this release, a French Brunswick (in Germany too?) and not in either the USA or the UK. The same holds for this take of 'Swing Low'. The labels of both state take-B but the wax only gives matrix numbers. A good copy of this scarce item - see below.
CONDITION: E- with some light marks, some light, general groove wear visible on sme sections of the record and a small amount of surface dirt. This disc would benefit from being cleaned. Side two has a composer copyright stamp, commonly found on European/UK issues, plus another partially removed small sticker.
Please note that we have been selling 78rpm records for over 30 years and have extensive experience in both grading and packing records of this type. For grading we use the standard system as used in the leading collectors' magazines. For mailing, we use custom made cardboard squares and boxes together with heavy-duty bubblewrap.
