LEVY'S/ORIOLE single sided 10" unnumbered disc: DUKE ELLINGTON Souvenir of Duke Ellington's 1st Visit To England in 1933
One of the rarest Duke Ellington issues, being only available in one store in London as a bonus record for people willing to buy half-a-dozen discs by the same artist. For Ellington collectors , the record consists of an interview with Duke of which he answers questions and plays the piano. Ellington signed the wax master and his autograph therefore appears etched across the bottom of the label on all copies of this item. The other side of the disc has Levy's/Oriole trademark embossed into the wax. Amagnificent copy of this rare item.
