Description
For sale is DUKE ELLINGTON's "Such Sweet Thunder," on Columbia CL 1033, Mono, DG, White-6-Eye Promo, 1957.
SOUND: VG+ It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Very nice sound overall. A few instances of light surface noise, very minor. A very nice playback!
VINYL: VG+ Some routine playing/handling wear either side. All appears superficial. DG white/red 6-Eye "Promo" labels have radio call letters in marker each side.
JACKET: VG+ Minor wear on the edges, but solid. Sticker and call-letters on both front and back covers. Otherwise, clean with light, routine shelf-wear.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. When play-tested, I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
