Description
Duke Ellington and His Orchestra performing live at Nagoya Public Hall, Nagoya, Japan in 1966. A unique and wonderful set of 6 photos approx. 9x12 in size, actual photographer's prints, each with players identified and the signature of E. Imataka (this info written in ink on bottom back of print). Captured in elegant performance are Lawrence Brown, Cootie Williams, Cat Anderson, Harry Carney, Johnny Hodges, Paul Gonsalves, Jimmy Hamilton, Russell Procope, and others, plus Duke himself looking splendid in his satin tux jacket, even taking a final bow. Framed nicely, these six would be perfect for a wall in your listening room!
