DUKE PEARSON "ANGEL EYES", ORIGINAL 1968, UK ONLY, POLYDOR ISSUE OF THIS EXCELLENT LP THAT FEATURES MATERIAL RECORDED IN 1961 AND 1962 WITH THOMAS HOWARD, LEX HUMPHRIES, BOB CRANSHAW AND WALTER PERKINS.
VISUALLY THE VINYL IS NEAR MINT, NOT A MARK TO BE SEEN, IT PLAYS WITH A TINY AMOUNT OF SURFACE /BACKGROUND NOISE, BUT THIS MAY NOT BE THE CASE ON YOUR DECK OR MAY DISAPPEAR AFTER A COUPLE OF CLEANS ON A RECORD CLEANING MACHINE.
THE SLEEVE HAS MINOR WEAR AND VERY SLIGHT DAMAGE TO THE CORNERS/EDGES, THE LAMINATE IS STARTING TO LIFT ALONG THE SPINE AND THERE ARE ALSO SOME CREASES IN IT. THERE IS TINY DAMAGE TO THE POLYDOR LOGO , BOTTOM LEFT, THE DATE OF PEARSON'S DEATH LIGHTLY WRITTEN IN THE SLEEVE NOTES, EASILY REMOVED, AND SOME SLIGHT DAMAGE/WEAR ALONG THE OPENING. THERE IS ALSO THE NUMBER 2 WRITTEN NEAR THE OPENING ON THE REAR.
